We began...

as a 501(c)3 charitable organization out of Syracuse, NY with a gospel-inspired mission to provide educational resources for children living in extreme poverty in Trujillo, Peru. Over the course of the last 15+years, The People Project, with the simple credo of "People Helping People" has grown exponentially to touch the lives of more than 450,000 people Worldwide!

 

Thanks to your support, we have given away over 2,000,000 meals, helped build rehabilitation centers, community centers, schools, orphanages and churches;  provided more than 400 tons of humanitarian goods; built and managed soup kitchens; and helped to educate thousands! We currently have 4 schools in Kenya and one in Zambia where we feed and educate nearly 1,200 children daily. We also have two soup kitchens in Peru where we do food distribution for those in need!
